Planned Town Roadwork for 2010
The following town roads are scheduled for maintenance this summer. Project dates have not yet been scheduled. These projects reflect a 9% reduction in funding from 2009.
 
Stearns Road – Stream bank stabilization project on the west side at Griffin rd.
North Johnson Road – Surface treat Chip seal
South Johnson Road – Surface treat Chip seal
Fairbanks RoadSurface treat Chip seal
Sheridan RdSurface treat Chip seal
Chili Riga Town Line Road Surface treat Chip seal
Appletree RoadSpot repairs
Percy RoadCrack fill
Lentine DriveCrack fill
 
Other 2010 Highway Department Projects
We look forward to working on community and park projects throughout the summer months. Here is a list of the projects planned for 2010.
 
Sanford Road Park – New ADA basketball court (Monroe County Community Block Grant)
Establish a T-Ball field at the Sanford Rd. Park facility.
SidewalkFrom Washington St. East to the Town Hall and American Legion.
This project is a collaborative effort between the Town Highway Dept. and the Village DPW forces, also supported by grant funding.
Churchville Park Tennis Court resurfacingThis project is a cooperative effort between the Monroe County Parks Dept. and The Town Highway Dept. to resurface the tennis courts and establish alternative pickleball courts at the same time.
Buffalo Road Park pavilionThe Highway Crew is planning on working with local contractors to re-roof and install a new rain gutter drainage system on the pavilion.
 
County Roadwork for 2010
I am working with Monroe County DOT on significant County Road projects for this summer; they are in tentative, draft stage at this time. We have identified the following roads as potential candidates. When confirmation is received, more details will be posted.
 
Malloch Road
Attridge Road
Bromley Road
