NOTICE TO BIDDERS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed proposals are sought and requested for:
One (1) New 2010 or Newer Four Wheel Drive Loader.
Sealed proposals must be received by the Town Clerk at the Town Hall, 6460 Buffalo Road, Churchville, New York 14428 on or before the 5th day of March, 2010 at 3:00 p.m., Eastern Standard time, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read.
The successful bidder must be an equal opportunity employer, must meet all appropriate Federal standards, and comply with all relevant Federal regulations.
No bidder may withdraw his bid at any time prior to the opening of the bids, except in accordance with the “Information for Bidders”.
The Town of Riga is exempt under Section 1116 of the Tax Law, and, therefore, no sales tax shall be included in the bid.
No bids shall be accepted from, or any contract awarded to any person or corporation who is in arrears to the Town of Riga upon any debt of contract, or is a defaulter as surety or otherwise upon any obligation.
The Town of Riga also reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any and all bids.
Copies of the Information for Bidders, including specifications, are available on the Town of Riga website @ www.townofriga.org or from the Town Clerk or the Highway Superintendent.
